Novanex’s patented Optimized Metabolic Calorimetry technology (OMC) uses our proprietary non-invasive OMC platform combined with high-precision sensor probes to measure body metabolic rate. This technology is based on the principle that blood glucose level and body tissue metabolic rate is proportionally related.

The device is designed such that factors that interfere with the accuracy of body heat dissipation measurements, such as environmental temperature, humidity and the current physical condition of device user, are appropriately controlled and compensated for via auxiliary measurements.

The device’s complex algorithm makes use of cumulative personalized data and updated auxiliary data to eliminate and compensate for these interfering factors, and computes accurate measurement of blood glucose.
